Cookies Policy

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember who you are and how you use it between visits.
2. How Popshare uses cookies
Essential cookies — required to keep you signed in, remember your session and let core features like booking and messaging work. Popshare cannot function properly without these.
Preference cookies — remember choices you've made, such as filters on the explore page, so you don't have to set them again.
Analytics — we use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how Popshare is used. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device: it counts page views using a hashed identifier that changes every day. Custom funnel events are prepared but unavailable on our current plan. We use it only to inform product decisions, never to build advertising profiles. You can switch it off for this browser in section 4, and we honour your browser's Do Not Track setting.
Listing view counts are a separate feature. Hosts see aggregate counts for their own listings; admins see aggregate counts across listings. Anonymous visits use a random token held only in page memory, not a persistent browser identifier. Signed-in visits are deduplicated using a listing-specific hash. These are approximate views, not a list of visitors or unique people. The analytics choice below and Do Not Track also stop this recording.
If you turn on push notifications, this browser stores a subscription and a small account marker so notifications go to the correct signed-in account. We do not cache your messages or private pages. Signing out disconnects notifications on this device and clears the account marker.
3. Third-party cookies
Some pages use third-party services, such as our payment processor Stripe, which may set their own cookies to prevent fraud and process payments securely. These are governed by that provider's own policy.
4. Managing cookies and analytics
Most browsers let you view, delete or block cookies through their settings. Blocking essential cookies will likely stop parts of Popshare — such as signing in or completing a booking — from working correctly.
Analytics is separate from cookies and you can turn it off here. The choice is saved in this browser only, so set it again on another device.
